Fixed (hopefully) gesture detection and made it... fun?
Hi Folks!
While this idea behind Rock-Paper-Infinity is potentially very interesting, the game has suffered from two main problems:
- Gesture detection issues - when it doesn't work it's frustrating
- Too easy - when gesture detection does work, it's boring :-)
With the help of the maintainer of CARL (the gesture detection library we use), I think (hope?) that the issue with gesture detection getting "stuck" is finally fixed :-)
Also, the rules will now be hidden during rounds (except the first one) and will only be shown when the rules change or when you lose a play. This makes the game much harder, especially in the later rounds, and may actually make the game... dare I say it... fun?
With this latest release, this is probably (for real this time) the last release of this little jam game :-)
Enjoy!
